If you can’t tell by the title.. I am a bit behind with posting on the blog.. and I’m sorry.. My oath for ’09 was simply…  to not let this happen (again).. what gets mis that … all you have to do to get me out of sync is give me an awesome spring break.. a finals week .. and I’m back to square one again.. playing catch up… it’s amazing… what captain morgan , a camera, and an Ice cold group of friends can get you (the best spring break ever!!!!).. Its also, to see my writing diminish  after spring break.. but… as many of yo know… being the motivated.. creature that I am.. It only takes two days for me to get in sync again.. and have those creative muscles start pumping again….I’m playing with Ketchup .. is something that I wont be doing this summer.. because as many of you know.. I will be graduating (hopefully) in two weeks.. and I will be on the grind … with my blog full time.. It will almost be an all access pass into the life of Dap (not really)…. and although I am posting these pics late (really late).. I feel that it wont be the same…  if I weren’t to post them at all..(right?).. so with out further a due .. check out some pics from my spring break with the greeks..

Oliver Spencer.. Takes on the same approach with this ’09 spring line as he did last fall.. I’m not talking about .. the clothing.. not at all.. I’m talking about the manikin.. the Johnny Depp look-a-like.. (fooled you right).. … who meshes in perfectly with the fit of the clothing.. if you ask me.. you would think that Oliver Spencer catered exclusively  just for the guy.. or you would think that Oliver Spencer was that guy..but any who is that guy?.. ahhhhh. well..as you can see ….  the man with all the answers is currently stumped…. But..  I can tell you that this spring line.. will have more of a refined but yet relaxed look.. for example the idea is set on nautical… all the way from the  jackets.. to the broken in relaxed trousers….

Polo Sheets

“I wear nothing but ‘Lo”… is officially my motto for .. ’09.. although.. I never do exactly just that… But… I can honestly stand by the fact .. that I have a terrible habit of buying.. useless ralph lauren brand accessories.. like socks.. boxers .. bed spreads.. wash rags.. towels.. and right now … BEDS.. yup .. you heard me … the whole bed.. yeah with the box spring… is the next step to my retarded spending habit.. I don’t know how soon .. I will be purchasing this bed.. In fact.. to keep it real with you guys.. I won’t .. ever.. especially not for $7,000.. well not right now.. But for those who can right .. now .. All the power to you bruh… because If I had it .. I  would too…anyway.. Ralph Doesn’t again.. and this time he brought bamboo with him.. in his stunning new Cape Lodge Bed.. well its not really bamboo.. its a bamboo styled four post structured bed.. from Philipine Mahagony.. with a Black Finish.. White Denim Shorts x Mister Freedom

Take it from me… these are dope… take it from Mr. Freedom.. and .. He will tell you .. that if you are able to get your hands on a pair of these.. you might as well play the lottery …they are extremely limited.(as all of his pieces are). but they are durable..durable enough …. for it  to be originally used as a bag.. or a jacket.. Yeah .. baby.. 11 ounces of raw denim.. and at them pricing in at $300 a pop.. I can see why .. only so few were made..

After having his Shore jacket custom tailored with it, there was just enough left to put together a pair of bermudas. His CO made sure he had them stenciled “Not for Deck Duty Use” on the inside. Before long, our sailor hit the beach wearing a white Tshirt, navy deck sneakers and his custom bermudas!”

Tyson

There is no surprise  to the  fact .. that as of late.. I’ve been wearing my Lemar and Dauley Tyson sweater heavily… again.. and recieving  a ton of remarks about it.. because.. any one with the slightest bit of common sense.. will say that Mike Tyson hands down .. is one of the best boxers in history .. and if not one of .. THE BEST BOXER … ever… and .. I know … I know.. It might sound crazy.. but let that statement  set in.. just a little… take five minutes or maybe ten..  because I guarantee that if you YOUTUBE. Mike Tyson’s greatest knockouts.. . you will not only be fixated … But scared shitless.. Mike Tyson’s documentary .. was not only inspirational.. But outright Hilarious  (his voice) .. and at the same time heartbreaking… because to see.. a great one fall as hard as he did.. can only make a great story.. and to see that he has a Tattoo on his face now that he can’t remove (without leaving a scar).. and to know that he sees that thing every day in the mirror.. lets him know ..the exact same thing I was thinking… what the heck were you smoking.. .. So I encourage everyone to go see the official 90 minute Tyson Documentary.. Directed By James Toback.. because the best story is only as good as if  told by the person himself..

…. At all.. Blending is what’s in.. and what has always separated the best dressed from the posers… I know it may seem difficult to grasp at first but … the good folks at Valet came up with a list of tips of what you should do and not when stuck in a doozey.. (of whether should I match the brands.. should I match colors.. should I wear all the colors on my shirt .. to my kicks..)
